Our Mission

Our mission is to build strong and productive youth with the Scouting program, while furthering leadership and responsibility in a safe and fun environment.  Troop 251 has a longstanding reputation for its welcoming atmosphere and Scouting centered focus that make our unit not just a troop, but a family.  We focus on advancement, with comprehensive guidance through ranks and merit badges, as well as outdoor activities and community service.  We advance this initiative with camping events and service projects every month, in addition to a week-long trip to a Boy Scout summer camp every year.
